Since 1929, April 23rd has been celebrated as the Children Festival in Turkey. In 1979 for the first time, children from various countries were invited to Turkey and the festival has become internationally celebrated. We have been celebrating with the child groups we invited from various countries since 1993.

We have welcomed 7604 children 2039 adult guests from 259
Folk dance group
from 46 different countries in our festival which we have co-ordinately organized with Karşıyaka Directorate of Education.
Our Purpose : To help form a friendship bond between children.
Turkish Culture , family structure , way of life, introduce the historical and natural beauties of our country .
OUR FESTIVAL IS A MEMBER OF CIOFF
Our festival was accepted as a member to CIOFF ( International Council of Organizations for Folklore Festivals and Folk Art) in 2003. This is the guarantee of our organization's fullfilment of the necessary terms. More than 300 festivals are affiliated with CIOFF in various parts of the World. It announces our festival in the "children festivals" part of the annually published magazine.
